    Default Which media?

I've been wondering if there are some blank DVD's more suitable than others for burning 'back-ups' on the Wii? My daughter has an original wiikey installed, but finds it hard to get quite a few games to work. I've installed 1.9s and used the config 1.4, but still can't get good results. Any ideas fellas?

I use Infiniti media and have not had one failure. ALWAYS burn as slow as you can seems to be the most important thing.

    Same here
We are all still learning. No one knows it all, so please respect that we may all need to ask silly questions from time to time.

Thanks for that. I've got a feeling that I need to learn more about this. I tried to burn slower than 4x, but neither Nero, gburner or imgburner would let me. I've tried RWs, but no joy. If there's a detailed guide around, please let me know.

Thx for the advice last weeks lads, very helpful. I bought some Infiniti DVD-Rs and some good Verbatim DVD-RWs. I'm now burning with imgburn, which I wish I'd found years ago. Testing first with RWs, I now have Mario Kart, SSBB, and WWE09 all running smoothly. I don't know if this is relevant, but it looks to me that if you install games with these RWs, the games will work with faster burned copies; could that be right?

I was using dvd-r for a while whhich workedfine for me. I was give a load of dvd-RW for free. My mum bought them when she had a dvd-RW recorder. Ive not had one problem with them.Surely this is the best route to go. If you get fed-up with a game just wipe the disc, n burn the covers.I find cover xp pro works best.
