    aye trout wouldnt of filled a roll lol , perch where 2lbs and 2.5lbs pretty decent for time of year , pike was about 1lb and not much bigger than joey mackerel it picked of the bottom !!!

    there was around another 15 smaller trout / perch caught and one monster eel but no pic of eel it was middle of night and my mate never took pic

    weather magic all weekend too

    I used to do a lot of Windsurfing and Kayaking on Loch Ard (the wee lochans down the bottom end are cracking in a canoe).

    (Not into fishing though, soz. )

    there was a few windsurfers up top end of loch over weekend , im glad no jet skis like a few of the other lochs there a pain in the arse

    Was never a fan of JetSkis.

    Some Anglers used to have a big chip on their shoulders with kayakers on some rivers a while back, stringing cables under the waterline and lobbing in concrete blocks with rebar hooks sticking out to snag them.

    Fuck knows what that was about.
    If we ever came across any we'd get their attention and just float past with the current (paddles out).
